Tickets may be purchased in advance for $25 at an outlet, including Barron’s Books, downtown branch of Texas Bank and Trust, and at City Hall. Tickets are also available by mailing the Ticket Form along with payment. A very limited number of tickets will be available the day of the event, so it is important to purchase your tickets in advance to be assured of admittance. |

Enter Maude Cobb Activity Center at 8:00 a.m. and enjoy coffee, juice, muffins and rolls as you stroll the exhibitor aisles. A large variety of exhibitors appealing to women’s interests and needs will display their merchandise and describe their services. Some items will be available for purchase. Many vendors will award door prizes to attendees. |

Joan Hallmark, Speaker
KLTV 7 Feature Reporter
A native East Texan and graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Joan Hallmark began her television career at KTVT, Channel 11, in Dallas where she was host of the award-winning "The Joan Hallmark Show".
For the past 30 years Joan has been at KLTV 7 News in Tyler, where her "Proud of East Texas" has long been an audience favorite. She's also the producer of "Freedom Fighters" , which profiles military men and women both past and present.
Joan's features have aired on ABC's "Good Morning America," "ABC News One," and various ABC stations across the country. In addition, Joan has anchored KLTV newscasts and created the station's "MedTeam" report, awarded the State's top medical reporting awards. Her news reports have and features have also won Associated Press awards and national awards from The American Cancer Society and the Vietnam Veterans Association .
Joan has interviewed hundreds of "Headliners," including both Presidents Bush, Nancy Reagan, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, George Foreman, Hank Aaron, Carol Burnett and many more. She also was selected to cover Queen Elizabeth's visit to Texas.
Joan's "Proud of East Texas," appears weekly on KLTV 7 News at 10 pm on Sundays. Freedom Fighters airs on Fridays at 10 pm.

The first male speaker for Women in Longview Day,Van Craddock is author of three books, "I Would've Been a Lumberjack but I Couldn't Hack It", "East Texas Tales: A Celebration of Pineywooods People,Places,Facts and Fables, and "Historic Gregg County." He is a favorite of readers of his Longview News Journal weekly column,which highlights historic East Texas people and events.
Originally from Gladewater, Van graduated Longview High School, Kilgore College and Stephen F. Austin State University. He is married to Bettye, and they have two children and one grandchild.
Van is a US Army veteran and a member of First Methodist Church of Longview,VFW Post 4002, Gregg County Historical Commission. and Longview Mayberry Union High Chapter of the Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club. |
