Schedule of the Day
 
Registration - 7:45 a.m.
 
Tickets may be purchased in advance for $20 at an outlet, including Barron’s Books, downtown branch of Texas Bank and Trust, and at City Hall. Tickets are also available by mailing the Ticket Form along with payment. A very limited number of tickets will be available the day of the event, so it is important to purchase your tickets in advance to be assured of admittance.
 
Continental Breakfast & Exhibits Open - 7:45 to 8:15 a.m.
 
Enter Maude Cobb Activity Center at 7:45 a.m. and enjoy coffee, juice, muffins and rolls as you stroll the exhibitor aisles. A large variety of exhibitors appealing to women’s interests and needs will display their merchandise and describe their services. Some items will be available for purchase. Many vendors will award door prizes to attendees.
 
Welcome and Opening Remarks - 8:15 a.m.
   
Seminars
  You may select two of four seminars to attend. Presenters will deliver pertinent information to enhance the personal and business lives of women and will provide opportunities for interaction among participants. Each presentation will contain specific information to help you recognize and develop your full potential on your journey through life performing daily your many roles as a woman.The hardest part of the day will be choosing which two to attend!

Nancy Oelklaus, Ed.D.

"One Woman's Journey"

 
After a 30-year career in education including many in the Marshall ISD, Nancy Oelklaus has become a leader in the fields of organizational development, change, systems thinking, and adult learning. Her national and international experience brings diversity to her work, which is grounded in a knowledge base of brain and systems thinking.
Dr. Oelklaus has written for The Systems Thinker, Leverage, The American School Board Journal, Leaders of Learners and Austin Business Journal. Her leadership profile, "The Power of Love," appears in Appreciative Leaders: In the Eye of the Beholder, published by the Taos Institute.
Nancy Oelklaus holds the Doctor of Education degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University, Commerce. Awards include Vision to Action Award from the Visions of a Better World Foundation, Boston, MA.
Dr. Oelklaus is an executive coach who works with women to make positive, sustainable change in their lives. She now lives in Austin, Texas.
